Nick Diaz vs. Scott Smith
Round 1: Smith started the round swinging wildly. Diaz stuck his chin out and challenged Smith to hit him. Diaz keeps peppering Smith with those short jabs. Diaz has Smith hurt with his punches. At the half-way point of the round, both guys stayed standing with Diaz getting the better of the stand up. Diaz mocked Smith and got hit with a right for it. Smith was able to take Diaz down with a minute left in the round, but Diaz was right back up and they went right back to exchanging. Smith finished strong, swinging wildly and taking Diaz down to end the round. Great first round. 10-9 for Diaz.
Round 2: Smith came in with his power punches while Diaz kept throwing jab after jab. The frenetic pace set in round 1 continues in this one. Diaz keeps nailing combinations on Smith, which are taking their toll. Smith was able to land right hands in between taking the combinations from Diaz. Diaz has already landed over a hundred punches in this round. Diaz landed some head kicks with less than 90 seconds left. Diaz landed a couple of shots and Smith went down as the round came to a close. Smith may be done. Another great round! Diaz landed 125 of 221 punches in that round. Unreal! 10-9 for Diaz.
Round 3: Smith, who almost looked done at the end of round 2, came out swinging. Diaz nailed Smith with more shots and got the fight to the ground. He got Smith's back and attempted a bar-arm choke. He secured it in and was able to get the win. Great fight.

The Compustrike stats show that Diaz landed 207 of 397 strikes. Insane!
After the fight, Diaz said that Smith's training partners can't be trusted and that he should come and train with Diaz's camp.
Fedor Emelianenko was shown at cageside again, and they plugged his fight with Josh Barnett at Affliction: Trilogy.
Andrei Arlovski vs. Brett Rogers
Michael Moore (Freddie Roach's assistant, not the filmmaker) accompanied Arlovski to the ring.
The fight was announced as being brought by Affliction, and they announced the top fights for Affliction: Trilogy during the ring introductions.
