Dana White Talks About Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson's Return

"He is still with us," White said of Rampage. "He'll be fighting in the next few months."

The bad blood between Rampage and White began in late August, when Rampage accepted the role of B.A. Baracus in the The A-Team movie, which led to the cancellation of his bout with fellow TUF 10 coach Rashad Evans this Saturday at UFC 107. Since then, the pair have been publicly feuding, leading to Rampage releasing a statement in September stating that he was retiring in order to pursue his Hollywood ambitions.

Rampage announced his return on his website last week, writing, "I'm coming back for my fans & to shut Rashad's mouth up & shut Dana's mouth up. Then after that I'm going back to doing movies & I might do a boxing match once a year just to stay in shape. Hate on dis!”

Apparently Rampage is returning to fulfill his obligations on his current contract and settle the score with Evans. However, White would only say that a fight with Evans would take place if Evans is victorious against Thiago Silva at UFC 108 in January.

"I want to make that fight happen," White admitted.

Evans faces Thiago Silva at UFC 108 on January 2, 2010 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
