The UFC officially announced their first event in Sydney, Australia early Wednesday morning but no bouts were announced. However, there are several rumored bouts that have been confirmed.
Heavyweight Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira is expected to take on the undefeated Cain Velasquez in the main event to determine the next #1 contender for the UFC heavyweight title.
Wanderlei Silva is also expected to make his official middleweight debut (his bout with Rich Franklin was a catachweight bout) against Michael Bisping.
Ryan Bader will be competing against fellow light heavyweight Keith Jardine as well.
Tickets for UFC 110 go on sale Monday, December 7th for UFC Fight Club members, Wednesday, December 9th for newsletter members, and Friday, December 11th for the general public.
