-- MMAJunkie.com is reporting that all eight fighters who were tested for performance-enhancing and recreational drugs at UFC 105 passed their tests. The event took place on Nov. 14 at the MEN Arena in Manchester, England and was headlined by Randy Couture defeating Brandon Vera in the main event.
-- The cursed UFC 108 card suffered another casualty, as Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Gabriel Gonzaga will have to bow out of his bout with Junior Dos Santos at the event due to a staph infection. A staph infection was also responsible for taking Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira out of his scheduled main event fight with Cain Velasquez.
-- According to Fanhouse.com, UFC 106 drew a $3,003,250 gate with 10,529 attendees. Of those attendees, only 6,631 were paid while the remaining 3,898 (valued at $2,331,250) were comped.
-- Following his TKO loss to Brian Foster at UFC 106 this past weekend, MMAJunkie.com is reporting that Brock Larson (26-4) has been cut by the UFC. Larson had gone 3-3 in the organization, and stated that the release was probable a good thing, saying, "I was having a hard time getting motivated for my last two fights. I needed a change. The undercards just didn't do it for me."
