The WEC announced at the WEC 44 post-fight press conference that newly crowned WEC featherweight champion Jose Aldo earned the "Knockout of the Night" bonus, while Shane Roller was awarded the "Submission of the Night" bonus, and Cub Swanson and John Franchi took home "Fight of the Night" honors. Each bonus totaled $10,000.
In addition to the bonuses listed above, MMAJunkie.com has reported the salaries for the event. Aldo and co-main eventer Manny Gaburyan were the top earners of the event, as they earned $26,000 and $36,000 respectively.
The total payroll was $236,500. Please note that the salaries below do not include the bonuses above, or any other bonused that may have been awarded:
