Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker Looks To PPV, Talks Fedor, Rogers & More

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker Looks To PPV, Talks Fedor, Rogers & More It's been a busy 2009 for Strikeforce and CEO Scott Coker, and there looks to be no slowing down. In an exclusive interview with Ray Flores of FightLine.com shortly after Saturday night's Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers event, Coker said that they plan on increasing the number of events in 2009.

When asked about when they would like to be on CBS again, Coker replied, "I'd like to be on as much as they'd like to have as on. It would be great to do 3-4 fights a year, as well as the 16 fights on Showtime."

Coker went on to note that CBS might not be the end of their expansion, and that the company may look at pay-per-view towards the latter part of 2010.

"Maybe towards the end of the year, we might jump into the PPV business," he stated. "But that's not something that we're going to do in the first part of the year."

Coker also talked about Fedor (whom he calls "MMA royalty"), Rogers' improved ground game, Jaon "Mayhem" Miller's dedication to the sport and more. You can watch the full interview below:
