As expected, the UFC has just confirmed that Anthony Johnson will indeed be taking on Josh Koshceck at UFC 106 inside the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s an imperative welterweight matchup for both wrestlers as each looks to climb the steep 170-pound ladder.
The November 21st card took a major blow earlier this week when UFC heavyweight king Brock Lesnar was forced to postpone his title bout against Shane Carwin until UFC 108. That immediately promoted the night’s co-main event, Tito Ortiz vs Forrest Griffin II, to the evening’s featured attraction.
Here are the is the updated card for the show:
Preliminary Card:
Brock Larson and Brian Foster Jason Dent vs. George Sotiropoulos Paulo Thiago vs. Jacob Volkmann Fabricio Camoes vs. Caol Uno Kendall Grove vs. Jake Rosholt Marcus Davis vs. Ben Saunders
Main Card:
Phil Baroni vs. Amir Sadollah Dustin Hazelett vs. Karo Parisyan Luiz Cane vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira Josh Koscheck vs. Anthony Johnson Forrest Griffin vs. Tito Ortiz
