Dana White: Ball In Dan Henderson's Court Now
Dana White: Ball In Dan Henderson's Court Now Earlier today, MMAFanHouse reported that Strikeforce would be formally offering Dan Henderson a contract within the coming days. If that’s the case, UFC president Dana White is content to let Hendo walk as he feels the UFC has done all they can to keep the former champion.

“We offered him a very, very good contract. A contract that’s more than fair and very respectable for everything that he’s accomplished in this sport,” White told MMA Connected.

Nobody knows how much money the UFC has offered Henderson, nor does anybody know how much Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker is throwing his way, but there’s one thing that White does know.

“I guarantee you that nobody else can pay him what we offered him, but he wants more,” a very open White continued.

Although The Dan Henderson sweepstakes appears to have only two major players in it, there is still a remote possibility that Henderson could land back home in Japan as well, a threat that White is well aware of.

“At the end of the day, he’s the grown man and he has to do what he has to do for his business and I have to do what I have to do for mine,” he explained.

One way or another, expect something to happen in the very near future for Henderson and Co.
