Quick Shots: UFC Counters Strikeforce, Curran Note, Lawler Returns, UFC 104 & More - Spike TV announced today they will be presenting a new special called UFC: Main Events, which will showcase four recent pay-per-view main event bouts. The show will conveniently air on Nov. 7th at 9 pm, which is when the Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers event will begin. The bouts that will air are Randy Couture vs. Antonio Rogdrigo Nogueira from UFC 102, Vitor Belfort vs. Rich Franklin from UFC 103, BJ Penn vs. Kenny Florian from UFC 101 and Forrest Griffin vs. Anderson Silva from UFC 101.

- Fanhouse.com is reporting that Robbie Lawler has been offered a chance to return on Strikeforce's December card. The report states that Lawler has agreed to the fight, but not opponent has been set. Apparently Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza and Nick Diaz are being considered for the fight. Diaz and Lawler had faced each other at UFC 47 in April of 2004, a bout that Lawler was heavily favored in, but Diaz won via knockout in the second-round.

- Fanhouse.com is also reporting that Jeff Curran has signed with Strikeforce and will compete on the Nov. 7 Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers card against an opponent to be announced. The former WEC contender was recently released from the WEC after suffering four consecutive losses.

- MMAJunkie.com is reporting that Jeremy Stephens, not Efrain Escudero as previously reported, will face Nik Lentz at UFC Fight Night 20. No reason has been given for Escudero's exit from the bout.
