Earlier this morning, Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG), the parent company of Dream, confirmed eight bouts for their highly anticipated Dream.12 event. Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem is set to make his return on the October 25th show.
Overeem’s manager, Bas Boon, confirmed with MMAWeekly late Monday that his client will be taking on James Thompson inside the Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka, Japan. However, Thompson’s agent, Ken Pavia, told the website the Brit was one of two fighters currently under consideration, with MMA veteran Ricco Rodriguez as the other name being tossed around.
