After an amazing night of MMA action, Zuffa, LLC. head honchos, Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta, ordered the WEC to double-up “Fight of the Night” honors for main event contestants Donald Cerrone and newly crowned interim light weight champ Ben Henderson.
Mackens Semerzier picked up “Submission of the Night” honors, and Anthony Njokuani earned the ”Knockout of the Night” bonus, earning each fighter an additional $10,000.
Henderson and Cerrone each would have pocketed that same total, however Zuffa brass couldn’t let an epic battle like that go by without showing some extra love, so Henderson and Cerrone will now walk away with an additional $20,000 each for their special performances inside the cage.
