Finally, a reason to buy an issue of ESPN The Magazine. Female MMA sensation Gina Carano will dawn the October cover for the trendy mag’s The Body issue. Carano, no stranger to having her supermodel-esque body captured on camera, appears mostly naked, with the exception of a pair of gym shorts and strategically placed MMA gloves.
The issue hits newsstands this Friday, October 9th, however Carano won’t be the only stripped-down pro on the cover of this edition. Five other athletes will be featured in various stages of nakedness for their own individual covers also.
NASCAR’s Carl Edwards, the Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard, Minnesota Viking Adrian Peterson, triathlete Sarah Reinertsen and tennis royalty Serena Williams will each own have their own magazine cover as well.
