Win or Lose, The UFC Got Their Money's Worth With Kimbo Slice
Win or Lose, The UFC Got Their Money's Worth With Kimbo Slice The hype behind this season’s “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series began as soon as UFC President Dana White announced that Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson would be one of the contestants on the show. Now the former YouTube sensation will take on former IFL heavyweight champ Roy Nelson on tonight’s episode to see if he can advance to the Elite eight of the heavyweight tournament.

By beating Nelson, Kimbo not only silences his critics, but he would also notch the biggest win of his MMA career (although the bout with Nelson is an exhibition, so it won’t actually count on his professional record).

Win, lose or draw, White and the UFC have definitely milked this Kimbo cash cow. The brawler has been featured in both episodes thus far this season, and he was spotlighted in last week’s show for his relentless work ethic.

The UFC has also served Slice up to the media on several occasions in order to help boost the ratings for their highly anticipated series. The UFC also requested that Kimbo HOST HIS OWN one-hour media call Monday in order to whoop up more interest in tonight’s show.

In addition, Slice was also featured on “Late Night” with Jimmy Fallon Monday night (you can watch his appearance with Fallon in our 'Videos' section).

Don’t forget to catch Kimbo Slice’s first appearance inside the UFC’s Octagon tonight on Spike TV beginning at 10PM ET/PT.
