Strikeforce Director of Communications Mike Afromowitz confirmed to MMAWeekly.com that the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, a suburb outside of Chicago, will host the highly anticipated heavyweight bout between Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers.
Also on the card, Jake Shields faces Jason "Mayhem" Miller for the recently vacated Strikeforce middleweight title.
The event marks the promotion's debut on CBS, and will be aired live at 9 p.m. ET. Tickets go on sale this Monday, September 23rd at Ticketmaster.com, Strikeforce.com, and the Sears Centre box office.
