For all you WEC fans out there, you can purchase your tickets for WEC 44: Brown vs. Aldo today at 3PM ET/12 PM PT. Featherweight champ Mike Brown will be making his third title defense, as he faces the dangerous Jose Aldo in the night’s final bout. WEC.tv newsletter subscribers received a pre-sale password to begin purchasing tickets yesterday.
In addition, the organization also confirmed that former 145-pound top contender Leonard Garcia will face “The Ultimate Fighter 5" runner-up Manny Gamburyan on the card as well. It is believed that the victor could earn consideration for a title shot against the winner of the evening’s featured contest.
