All UFC 103 Fighters Issued Medical Suspensions, Cro Cop Suspended Indefinitely
All UFC 103 Fighters Issued Medical Suspensions, Cro Cop Suspended Indefinitely The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for Combative Sports announced today that all the fighters who competed in this past Saturday's UFC 103 card have been issued medical suspensions.

The winners of this past Saturday's event - Vitor Belfort, Junior dos Santos, Paul Daley, Josh Koscheck, Tyson Griffin, Eliot Marshall, Vladimir Matyushenko, Rafael dos Anjos, Efrain Escudero, Jim Miller, Nick Lentz and Rick Story - were either suspended until Sept. 27th or 29th. Rich Franklin, Martin Kampmann, Frank Trigg, Hermes Franca, Cole Miller and Steve Lopez were suspended until Oct. 20th. Jason Brilz, Rafaello Oliveira, Igor Pokrajac and Rob Emerson were suspended until Sept. 29th, while Brian Foster and Drew McFedries were suspended until Sept. 27th.

Meanwhile Mirko Cro Cop - who verbally submitted during the third round of his bout with Junior dos Santos after complaining about not being able to see properly - was suspended indefinitely and will only be cleared to fight after obtaining a doctor's approval. Cro Cop was sent to the hospital after the fight to have his eyes evaluated.

"He's got to fly 20 hours to get home," UFC president Dana White stated during the UFC 103 post-fight press conference. "I've got to know he's OK before he gets on that plane. He took some big shots from a heavy puncher tonight."
