- Fresh off of his record-setting seven-second win over Tim Hague at UFC 102 last month, Todd Duffee (5-0 will return to the octagon at UFC 107 on December 12th in Memphis, Tenn. According to MMAJunkie.com, Duffee will return at the event against an opponent yet to be determined.
- As noted earlier this week, Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi injured his shoulder and was forced to pull out of his semifinals bout against Rameau Thierry Sokodjou in Dream’s Super Hulk Tournament on October 6th. DREAM announced that Bob Sapp will re-enter the tournament to fill in for the injured Mousasi. Sapp originally was out of the tournament when he dropped a decision victory to Minowaman at DREAM.9.
- MMA Live is reporting that a lightweight clash between Frank Edgar (10-1) and Kurt Pellegrino (14-4) is in the works for The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale on December 5. Both men are coming off of big victories, with Edgar coming of of back to back wins over Hermes Franca and Sean Sherk while Pellegrino is coming off of a big win over Josh Neer.
