It’s been almost 18 months since UFC middleweight Patrick Cote was last seen inside an Octagon. According to the French-Canadian, his surgically repaired knee is still giving him issues which will keep him on the sidelines until 2010.
“My ACL is good, but my MCL is busted,” Cote told MMAWeekly.com. “So I have to go under surgery again.”
Cote stated that he will be going under the knife today to fix the lingering issues with his knee. With the recovery and rehab, don’t expect to see him fighting again any time soon.
“Not before February or March, for sure,” Cote said of a possible return date.
