Tito Ortiz Hints At UFC Return, Says "A New Beginning Starts Tomorrow"
Tito Ortiz Hints At UFC Return, Says "A New Beginning Starts Tomorrow"Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz updated his official MySpace page tonight, and hinted that Dana White may be announcing his return during tomorrow's press conference.

"A new beginning starts tomorrow," Ortiz stated. "I have stood my ground as a fighter and business man. Now my fans will get to see the best of me. New back, new mind, and new motivation.

"The future of my career will be made tomorrow," Ortiz continued. "I hope you will be as happy as I am. Let the Punishment Begin!!!!!"

Over the past 14 months, Ortiz has declared that he was close to signing a deal with EliteXC, Affliction and Strikeforce while maintaining that he was done with the UFC as long as Dana White was at the helm.

In the past week, Tito Ortiz and Dana White both announced that they had made up after years of publicly feuding. And more recently, Dana White posted an ominous message via Twitter stating, “Welcome back Tito.” While those words seem to indicate that Ortiz is on his way back to the UFC, White later said Ortiz's return was “a possibility” on ESPN 1100. Love him or hate him, most fans are eager to see the polarizing fighter back in the Octagon.

Rumors have circulated that Ortiz may face Rich “Ace” Franklin at UFC 103 in Dallas. Franklin was scheduled to fight Dan Henderson in a rematch of their January fight that Henderson won via a close split decision. That fight was recently removed from the UFC's website fueling the speculation of the proposed fight between Franklin and Ortiz.
