 It was once the UFC’s ho-hum weight class, however with the emergence of former WWE employee Brock Lesnar, the heavyweight division is now one of the company’s most exciting. There are few fighters hotter in the division than Shane Carwin, however he may have met his match against Cain Velasquez at UFC 104.
“The scouting report on Cain is that he is well-rounded and has an unlimited gas tank,” Carwin told FiveOuncesOfPain.com. “He is an aggressive fighter who posesses a ton of skill. He trains with one of the elite camps in the world so I really expect him to be in top shape and ready to go.”
Carwin and Velasquez are considered two of the best heavyweight up and comers in the world, so it is only fitting that they duke it out to determine who is closer to getting their hands on Lesnar.
The two will face off on October 24th inside Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
