Brock Lesnar Continues His Apology Tour
Brock Lesnar Continues His Apology TourIt’s been two weeks since UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar openly admitted to making a fool of himself after unifying the title at UFC 100. As the hysteria of the historic event dies down, Lesnar has continued his apologetic campaign.

“It was an emotional (victory), I’ll put it that way. That’s for sure,” Lesnar stated on KFAN’s morning show based in Minneapolis.

“Like I said, it was a very emotional win for me. 17 months, an eight week training camp. There was a lot of build up for this. Frank [Mir] and I were supposed to fight in May. He backed out and said he had gotten hurt. I had heard some different things. This guy was biding his time. Frank’s a huge fan of the fight industry. He wanted to be part of the UFC 100. I felt like there was some things I wasn’t being informed on. I just wasn’t sure how everything was going. Finally, to get my hands on the SOB was just a blessing.”

There was no denying Lesnar’s superior strength and skills during his second round domination of Mir, however it was his WWE-like antics after the victory that has had mixed martial arts enthusiasts up in arms for the past week, including his current boss.

“It’s not who we are, and, to be honest, it’s not who he is,” UFC president Dana White said of Lesnar’s antics. “I was blown away. I don’t think in the history of the UFC we’ve had anybody do that.”

Love him or hate him, MMA fans can’t seem to get enough of Lesnar.
