 - World Victory Road announced that Dan Hornbuckle (17-2) will face Akihiro Gono in Gono's return to Japan. The two will square off at Sengoku 9 on August 2nd at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Gono is coming off of back-to-back losses in the UFC to Dan Hardy and Jon Fitch.
- MMAWeekly is reporting that Kyle Kingsberry (7-2 1 NC) and Razak Al-Hassan (7-1) will do battle at UFC 104 on October 24 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Al-Hassan is coming off a submission loss to former WEC champion Steve Cantwell at UFC Fight for the Troops, while Kingsberry is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Tom Lawlor at The Ultimate Fighter Season 8 Finale.
- MMAJunkie is reporting that middleweight Rob Kimmons (22-4) has signed a new four-fight contract with the UFC. Kimmons is coming off of a first-round submission victory over Joe Vedepo at UFC Fight Night 18 in April.
