"UFC's Ultimate 100 Greatest Fights" Premieres This Sunday
"UFC's Ultimate 100 Greatest Fights" Premieres This SundayUFC’s Ultimate 100: Greatest Fights series will debut on July 5th on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The show will count down the scraps UFC fans selected as their top 100 all-time Octagon fights.

The first hour-long episode is jumping off this Sunday, with subsequent episodes of the series airing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during the same time slot.

On Saturday, July 11th, Spike TV will air the final episode of the five-part series, as well as re-airing the previous four shows. It will serve as a five-hour lead-in to UFC 100.

The UFC opened up the polls to the fans on May 1st, allowing them to choose from a list of 181 candidates selected by Spike TV and the UFC.

If you haven’t voted yet, there’s still time. Just go to Ultimate100.spike.com.

You can go old school with it and pick the groundbreaking battle that helped start this obsession we call MMA by going with Royce Gracie vs. Ken Shamrock at UFC 1, or you can even choose the instant classic between Diego Sanchez and Clay Guida at this past Saturday’s The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale.

Spike TV has you rate each of the 181 scraps on a scale from one to ten Octagons. One Octagon represents a “Standard” tussle, while a perfect 10 Octagons represents an “Epic” clash.
