 The Nevada State Athletic Commission announced the figures for last week’s The Ultimate Fighter Season 9 Finale. A ruckus 2,217 fans packed into The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, earning the UFC $498,650 at the gate.
Only 1,801 of the fans in attendance paid to see the U.K.’s Ross Pearson and James Wilks each walk away with six-figure contracts with the UFC after claiming their respective TUF tournaments.
TUF 1 winner Diego Sanchez edged out a razor-thin split decision win over Clay Guida in the night’s main event.
