 - TJ Grant's fight with Rory Markham for The Ultimate Fighter Season 9 Finale this Saturday is off. Markham sustained an injury during training and had to bow out of the fight just five days before the bout was scheduled to take place. Grant was originally scheduled to face Martin Kampmann, however Kampmann refused to take the fight, noting that it didn't make sense for him career-wise.
- While the Grant - Markham fight is off, Jason Dent vs. Cameron Dollar has been booked for the finale this Saturday. Both lightweights were members of Team US on TUF 9.
- Jonathan Goulet dislocated his shoulder and had to pull of of his UFC 100 bout on July 11th with Dong Hyun Kim . A replacement for Kim has yet to be announced.
- Two more big fights have been signed for WEC 42 on August 9th. MMAJunkie.com is reporting that a featherweight bout between Leonard Garcia and Jameel Massouh, and a lightweight bout between undefeated Ricardo Lamas and Danny Castillo, have been added to the card.
