Frank Trigg Returning To The UFC
Frank Trigg Returning To The UFCOn Wednesday, MMA veteran fighter Frank Trigg ended his three-and-a-half year Octagon hiatus, signing a four-fight deal with the world’s biggest mixed martial arts organization. Trigg holds a 19-6 overall MMA record, however only managed a 2-3 record for the UFC.

MMAjunkie heard it directly from the horses mouth as Trigg told the website that the contract took both sides nearly nine months to complete.

“We tried real hard to make a deal for the WEC, back when they still had a welterweight division, and we just couldn’t come together,” Trigg stated. “I talked to them again, and (WEC matchmaker) Sean Shelby and (UFC matchmaker) Jose Silva and I got together and worked it all out.”

Trigg will most likely fight in the UFC’s middleweight division, although he was a 170-pounder during his first sting with the UFC many moons ago.
