- Last night at the UFC 98 post-event press conference, UFC President Dana White announced that UFC 104 would be held in Los Angeles on October 24th. The last time the UFC held an event in L.A. was in September of 2007, when the UFC held UFC 76.
- The controversial Phillipe Nover - Kyle Bradley fight that was on the under card of UFC 98 last night is now available for download at the UFC Vault. The fight saw Yves Lavigne stop the fight prematurely, awarding the bout to Kyle Bradley just over a minute into the first round. Lavigne apologized to Nover after the fight and was booed heavily the rest of the night whenever he was introduced. You can download the video at the UFC Vault by clicking here.
- Former UFC light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin was the winner of the inaugural Tequila CAZADORES Authentic Spirit Award yesterday. The award will be given out once a month, and will recognize UFC fighters that demonstrate good sportsmanship, dedication to MMA or social responsibility. The winner also receives a $1,000 check which will go to their charity of choice. Griffin's $1,000 will go towards the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit dedicated to honoring wounded soldiers.
