 * Former WWE superstar Daniel Puder defeated Jeff Ford at a Call To Arms event at The Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California last night. Puder defeated Ford at 1:23 of Round 1 via TKO after Ford hit Puder with a high kick that caused him to fall and injure his shoulder. Ford could no longer continue, allowing the former WWE Tough Enough winner to improve his professional MMA record to 7-0.
* Dana White will appear on NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this Tuesday night. UFC.com reports that White will discuss UFC 98 and the release of the new UFC videogame, UFC Undisputed 2009.
* MMAJunkie.com is reporting that The Ultimate Fighter Season 8 cast member Shane Nelson (12-3) will once again face Aaron Riley (27-11-1) at UFC 101: Declaration on August 8th at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, PA. The two had fought at UFC 96 in March, in a fight that saw Nelson earn a first round TKO win. The ruling was controversial as most observers thought that the fight was stopped prematurely.
