Chuck Liddell Finally Speaks Out On His Future And Retirement
Chuck Liddell Finally Speaks Out On His Future And RetirementAfter weeks of back-and-forth banter between UFC President Dana White and John Hackleman, Liddell finally spoke about his future in an interview with MMA Madness.

“I’m going to take some time off and figure out what I want to do, and see what else I think I can do,” Liddell said. “I’ll still be training guys and I’ll still be working out and training."

When asked to make a definitive decision about where or not he will retire, he noted that he will make that decision in the next year, but not quite yet.

“I’m too emotional to make a rational decision, so I want wait and take my time. I’m not going to make that decision until I sit down and look at it after a little while. I need some time off anyway, and when everyone stops worrying about it, I’ll make my decision on my own.

“Right now, I couldn’t say that I’m not going to fight again.”

Liddell went on to admit that it's hard to stop competing after all these years, and that while he'll listen to Dana White as a friend, White can't force him to do anything.

“The last thing you want to do if you want me to do something is to tell me I have to do it”, Liddell said.
