Dream.9 To Broadcast LIVE On HDNet
Dream.9 To Broadcast LIVE On HDNetHDNet Fights CEO Andrew Simon was on MMAjunkie Radio this morning to announce that Dream.9 will air live on HDNet.

The ninth installment of the PrideFC successor promises to be an entertaining event for two very different reasons.

As reported earlier, the card features two super-fight main events in Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante versus Tatsuya Kawijiri and Bully Beatdown’s MTV star Jayson “Mayhem” Miller re-matching Brazilian Jujitsu convert Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza for the vacant DREAM Middleweight Title. The event will also feature the second round of the featherweight grand prix, featuring Japanese MMA's biggest stars including “Kid” Yamamoto and Masakazu Imanari.

The other reason this event is creating a major buzz is the newly announced “Super Hulk Tournament.” Japanese MMA organizations are famous for creating “freak show” matchups and this one is no different. This tourney will feature open-weight bouts pitting some of the largest men in MMA like 7-foot-2 Hong Man Choi taking on much smaller fighters. The aforementioned Choi is set to take on no-other than former MLB player and steroid whistleblower Jose Canseco. Gerard Mousasi and ex-UFC fighter Sokoudjou are also set to participate.
