Bobby Lashley last fought in March at the March Badness event that was a mixture of Boxing and MMA. He defeated Clay Guida's older brother, Jason via unanimous decision. Sapp's last appearance was at the K-1 Dynamite! show on December 31st where he defeated Akihito Tanaka.

This fight will be Lashley's toughest task yet as he gives up almost 100 pounds in weight to Sapp. The fight is being promoted by Prize Fight Promotions.
