Frank Mir Compares Lesnars Punching Power To His Baby Sister
Frank Mir Compares Lesnars Punching Power To His Baby SisterFrank Mir recently had arthroscopic knee surgery to repair damage he sustained in training. The procedure pushed back his unification match up with current UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar to UFC 100 on July 11 from UFC 98 on May 23.

But Mir's recovery is appearently going so well that the interim champion has stated that he could've been ready by the original May 23 date.

"The way my leg feels now, in hindsight I could have made May 23," Mir told Fanhouse. "In fact, I'm on schedule to be in top shape at that time."

Mir also took a minute to launch a few verbal jabs at Lesnar, who made recent comments calling Mir's knee injury into question.

"Most of my partners who are 190 to 210 lbs. actually hit harder," Mir said, (It's) kind of like having your baby sister on your back and all over you, and you're just saying, 'Get off me.'"

All joking aside, Mir will be looking for his second UFC heavyweight title when he squares off against Lesnar this summer, though he doesn't believe that the best heavyweight in the world will be crowned after the match up. Giving that distinction to WAMMA champion Fedor Emelianenko.

"Fedor's a great competitor," Mir said. "He's the best heavyweight."
