Mike Thomas Brown vs. Urijah Faber II Set For WEC 41
Mike Thomas Brown vs. Urijah Faber II Set For WEC 41A rematch between current WEC featherweight champion Mike Thomas Brown and Urijah Faber will reportedly take place at an unannounced WEC 41 event on June 7 in Sacramento, California. Contrary to rumors and speculation, WEC 41 will not be the promotion’s first PPV as it’s scheduled to air live on VERSUS.

Brown scored an upset over the heavily favored Urijah Faber in their first meeting at WEC 36 last November.

Brown is coming off of a successful title defense over Leonard Garcia in the main event of March's WEC 39. Brown currently sports a 21-4 MMA record and he’s in the midst of a 9 fight win streak.

Meanwhile, Faber has since rebounded from the loss to Brown with a quick submission win over Jens Pulver at "WEC 38: Varner vs. Cerrone" back in January.
