 If you still don't believe that MMA has gone mainstream, Gatorade's recent signing of Georges St-Pierre should serve as notice. St-Pierre will join the likes of Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali as athletes features on Gatorade's "What's G?" commercials.
With a big push towards Canada, St-Pierre, Gordie Howe, Cassie Campbell, Ray Zahab, Chantal Petitclerc and Bradd Arseneau will all help Gatorade make a move in the market.
Vice president of marketing for Gatorade in Canada, Dale Hooper, said, "Just like in the US, the Canadian Gatorade brand is recognizing some of
our nation's most influential and inspiring athletes."
