A welterweight bout between tough veteran Chris Lytle and Kevin Burns has been added to the rapidly evolving fight card for TUF 9 Finale. The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale takes place on June 20th in Las Vegas and the main card is set to air on Spike TV
Lytle last fought at UFC 93 in a much hyped welterweight bout against Marcus Davis; Lylte suffered a disappointing split decision loss to Davis. The very experienced Lytle carries an overall MMA record of 26-17-5 with a 5-9 UFC record.
Meanwhile, Kevin Burns made a very impressive UFC debut last June by defeating BJJ black belt Roan Carneiro. Burns is coming off of a brutal Knockout loss to Anthony Johnson in their rematch at the TUF 8 finale. Burns earned a controversial win over Johnson in their first fight at UFN 14; Burns inadvertently eye poked Johnson thus temporarily blinding Johnson.
