 Former number one welterweight contender Jon Fitch could return to the UFC against undefeated Brazilian submission specialist Paulo Thiago at UFC 100 on July 11. The fight far from official but Jon Fitch and Pualo Thiago seem to be warm to the idea of them fighting each other.
Thiago boasts a stellar 11-0 MMA record with 7 of those victories being submission stoppages. Thiago last fought at last month’s UFC 95: “Sanchez vs. Stevenson”, where he scored a very big upset victory over Fitch’s AKA teammate Josh Koscheck.
Meanwhile, Fitch last fought at UFC 94: “St. Pierre vs. Penn 2? against the very colorful Akihiro Gono; Fitch scored a unanimous decision win over Gono. Fitch has won all but one of his 10 fights in the UFC and of course the lone loss was delivered to him by welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre in their title bout from last August's UFC 87.
