We reported, as many other sites did, that Quinton "Rampage" Jackson would take on Rashad Evans at UFC 98 in May but it doesn't seem like its a sure bet only 24 hours following UFC 96.
Dana White said prior to the fight that if Jackson won, he'd get a title shot at UFC 98 but if Jardine won, Lyoto Machida would get the nod.
Jackson held up his end of the deal as he outpointed a tough Keith Jardine but following the fight, Jackson admitted that he wanted some R&R.
"I got a bunch of Asian girls waiting for me. Damn! I was going to see which one I was going to take with me on a little getaway." Jackson joked.
White was quick to step in and play damage control, "If he [Jackson] feels like he can't take this fight [with Evans], we don't want him to take the fight."
The only thing that we do know is that the coming weeks will dictate whether or not UFC 98 will have a legitimate main event or not.
