 Sitting with a record of 10-0, albeit against lower-level opponents, UFC heavyweight Shane Carwin could find himself with a UFC title shot if he could get past a very tough and confident Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 96 this Saturday.
When UFC President Dana White was asked about Carwin's title prospects, he responded by saying, "If he beats Gabe Gonzaga, that's huge. He's undefeated. Yeah, definitely."
Gabriel Gonzaga should find himself somewhere near a title shot with a win as well though. Following two bad losses to Randy Couture and Fabricio Werdum, Gonzaga has been able to rebound with back-to-back wins over Justin McCully and Josh Hendricks.
