 Both Fighters Only and MMAJunkie are reporting that current UFC light heavyweight champion, Rashad Evans, has signed a new contract with the UFC according to a source close to the situation.
The source, a member close to the Team Jackson camp, says that the contract will begin immediately which means his old contract is done.
Evans' new deal is reminiscent to how former champion Quinton Jackson's new deal when he signed just prior to his showdown with then champion Chuck Liddell.
