Josh Thomson vs.Gilbert Melendez Rematch Possible For Strikeforce On April 11th

Strikeforce is contemplating a rematch between Josh Thomson and Gilbert Melendez for their April 11th event.

Thomson and Melendez were supposed to fight separate bouts on the fight card but Strikeforce is having a hard time finding opponents for both men. K.J Noons turned down the April 11th fight against Thomson and Melendez's rumored fight with UFC Veteran Jorge Gurgel is looking very unlikely to happen.

Josh Thomson and Gilbert Melendez previously fought this past June with the then Strikeforce lightweight champion Melendez losing his title after Thomson scored a dominant unanimous decision victory.
