MMAweekly.com is reporting that former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin and former PRIDE superstar Wanderlei Silva will fight at UFC 99. It's believed that the fight will take place at a catchweight in the vicinity of 195 lbs.
Franklin is coming off of a close loss to Dan Henderson at UFC 93, while Wanderlei Silva suffered a devastating knockout loss to Quinton Jackson at UFC 92. A catchweight makes sense for both fighters as Silva is looking to move to middleweight while Franklin wants to remain at light heavyweight.
