 It is being rumored that former EliteXC welterweight champion, Jake Shields, will be competing on the next Strikeforce card, which is set for April 11th. The main event for the card will feature another former EliteXC fight in Nick Diaz against Frank Shamrock.
Shields will be fighting against former UFC fighter, Joe Riggs, on the card.
The news from Around The Octagon follows last week's announcement that Strikeforce had acquired most of the fighter contracts from the now defunct EliteXC.
