Cheick Kongo To Face Antoni Hardonk At UFC 97
By Jacob Camargo | February 07, 2009
FiveOuncesOfPain.com reported that a key heavyweight bout between two former kickboxing standouts in Cheick Kongo and Antoni Hardonk has been added to the almost complete UFC 97 fight card in April.Cheick Kongo is riding a two fight win steak over Dan Evensen at UFC 87 and Mustapha al Turk at UFC 92, both victories coming in rather destructive and convincing manners. Hardonk has been on a tear himself with three straight wins over Colin Robinson, Eddie Sanchez and Mike Wessel.
A win for both men would establish them a top contender and furthur send them up the heavyweight ladder.
