CSAC Announces 11 Affliction Fighters Medically SuspendedThe California State Athletic Commission released their list of the 11 fighters who were medically suspended following January 24th's Affliction "Day of Reckoning".

Here's the list:

Andrei Arlovski is suspended 45 days, with no contact for 30 days, for precautionary reasons. The Commission is also requiring him to pass a physical before he’s able to return.

Gilbert Yvel is suspended 60 days, with no contact for 60 days, due to facial cuts suffered in the loss to Josh Barnett.

Matt Lindland is suspended 45 days, with no contact for 30 days. Lindland will also need to pass a physical, undergo a CT scan of his head and neck, and he must be cleared by a neurologist before he returns.

Vladimir Matyushenko could be suspended for a maximum of 180 days. He’ll need an X-ray to see if he indeed has a fracture in his right ankle, as well as a physician’s clearance, or the six-month suspension will be upheld.

Kiril Sidellnikov is suspended 45 days, with no contact for 30 days, for precautionary reasons. He’ll need to pass a new physical as well.

Paul Buentello is suspended 180 days, with no contact for 180 days, due to a possible fracture of his right hand. He can be cleared early if X-rays come back negative and he receives clearance from an orthopedic physician.

Jason High is suspended 45 days, with no contact for 30 days, for precautionary reasons and will need to pass a physical.

L.C. Davis is suspended 60 days, with no contact for 60 days due to a cut, though he can be cleared early with a doctor’s approval.

Bao Quach is suspended 45 days, with no contact for 30 days, for precautionary reasons.

Albert Rios is suspended 180 days, with no contact for 180 days, due to a possible fracture of his right foot. He can be cleared early by an orthopedic physician if X-rays are negative.

Patrick Speight is suspended 60 days, with no contact for 60 days due to a cut, though he can be cleared early by a doctor. Regardless, he will have to serve a mandatory suspension of 45 days, with no contact for 30 days, for precautionary reasons and will need a physical.
