 With Hermes Franca being pulled off of February 7th's Ultimate Fight Night card so soon before the fight, many thought that Joe Lauzon would be out of luck in his first bid to headline a UFC event. Luckily for Lauzon, the UFC and its fans, Jeremy Stephens is ready and willing to step in for the injured Franca.
The unfortunate news for Franca is that he has torn his ACL according to Franca himself. The injury is expected to keep Franca out for at least six months.
Lauzon will look to put an end to Stephens' run of four victories in his last five fights on February 7th at the USF Sun Dome.
