 Several sources recently stated that Luis Cane and Keith Jardine were going to face one another at UFC 97. But Cane himself states that he does not know who his opponent will be, though he confirms that he'll be in action at UFC 97.
“That’s the rumor going around on the internet, but nothing has yet been confirmed," Cane told Portal das Lutas. "We asked for a few different adversaries from the UFC, but the organization has not confirmed anything and we haven’t signed anything. So nothing’s concrete, but I’ll probably fight on April 18."
However, Cane believes that if the fight does go down, UFC fans will be in for a treat.
“Jardine’s an excellent athlete and very smart guy who has a really good fight strategy," said Cane. "He’s one tough guy and I’m certain it would be a real war, an excellent fight for UFC fans to watch for sure."
