 With 2009 already underway, UFC President Dana White has said on many occasions that he would love to have a UFC event in New York. It looks like 2009 will be the year as many expect the sport to get regulated in the state which will allow the UFC to hold an event in the world's biggest market.
Another consideration for the UFC is Boston. With many of its fighters living and training in Boston, it would make sense for the UFC to also tap into that market.
The plan for White and the UFC in 2009 is to go "everywhere" as White stated at the UFC 92 post-fight press conference.
What this means is that fans who have been in Las Vegas with the UFC since its Zuffa purchase may have fewer events to go to as the UFC continues to move throughout the country and now the world.
