Round 1: Silva connected with some good punches early on. The fight went to the ground and about 2 minutes in, referee Herb Dean stood them up and deducted a point from Silva due to strikes to the back of the head. Eilers landed a couple of good jabs at the end, but it was Silva's round, 9-9 Silva due to the point deduction.

Round 2: Silva rocked Eilers right away and knocked out Eilers's mouthpiece. Herb Dean looked like he wanted to stop the fight so Eilers could put it back in but Silva was wailing away at him. Silva kept connecting and Dean waived him off giving Silva the win and making him the first EliteXC Heavyweight Champion.

Shayna Baszler vs. Cristiane Cyborg

Round 1: Cyborg came out swinging and took Baszler down early. Cyborg maintained control of the round. 10-9 round for Cyborg.

Round 2: Cyborg started the round off connecting with a series of punches to Baszler, eventually knocking her down. Cyborg motioned for her to stand up and then connected with more punches and a hard knee. Cyborg got Baszler and kept connecting before apparently knocking her out. Cyborg started celebrating but Steve Mazagatti told her that he hadn't called the fight yet. That just led to another minute of punishment for Baszler, before Cyborg finished her again.

EXC Welterweight Title
Jake Shields vs. Nick Thompson

Round 1: Shields took Thompson down almost immediately and got Thompson in a guillotine a minute into the round, forcing Thompson to tap out.

Nick Diaz vs. Thomas Denny

The ovation for Diaz (who is from Stockton) was insane, one of the loudest pops I've heard for an MMA fighter. It was Kimbo after beating Tank Abbot loud.

Round 1: The two traded blows early. Denny landed a good kick and took Diaz down, but they were quickly back up. They went back to the ground and Diaz went for an armbar, but Denny popped out. They kept exchanging blows and Denny looked dazed. Denny hit a leg kick on Diaz but was spent and fell down from it and Diaz went in on the attack peppering Denny with shots to finish the round. Great first round! 10-9 Diaz.
