 The UFC has come to terms with popular light heavyweight contender Houston Alexander on a new five fight deal. The news comes courtesy of Dave Meltzer.
Alexander literally burst onto the MMA landscape last year with a huge KO over Keith Jardine followed by an impressive KO over Alessio Sakara.
His star faded just as quickly however and he's currently riding a two fight losing streak after being submitted by Thiago Silva and dropped via first round KO at the hands of James Irvin.
The Nebraskan Assassin looks to right the ship against BJJ ace Eric Schafer at UFN 15 in his hometown of Omaha, Neb this Sept. 17
