No "Spider" as Okami gets Lister at UFC 92

MMAWeekly was able to speak with Lister who confirmed the bout. “I heard he’s real strong, and I believe he’s a pretty tall guy, he’s a south paw.” Lister told MMAWeekly.

Okami was originally slated to face Anderson Silva for the UFC middleweight title in what would’ve been a re-match of their Rumble on the Rock showdown, in which Okami won via a disqualification when Silva struck Okami with an illegal blow.

It seems as though Okami’s hand is now healthy enough to get back into the Octagon. It’ll be Okami’s first fight since his KO victory over the late Evan Tanner at UFC 82 back in March.
